AP LAWCET 2026: The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education or APSCHE has published the AP LAWCET 2026 exam date on May 4, 2026. This entrance test is designed for those who are looking to enrol into 3 to 5 year integrated law programs at universities in Andhra Pradesh and their associated colleges. On behalf of Andhra State Council of Higher Education, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam in Tirupati conducts the examination.

Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) AP LAWCET 2026 Application form has been opened on February 12, 2026. Applicants may make online applications to AP LAWCET 2026 to be admitted to 5- year LLB and 3-year LLB programmes online at its official website cets.apsche.ap.gov.in before the deadline. Applicants might also pay their registration fees as late as Rs. 1000, Rs. 2000, Rs. 4000 and Rs. 10,000 in order to access AP LAWCET 2026.

AP LAWCET 2026 Exam

AP LAWCET is a state level examination that takes place once in a year. This examination is a CBT test, happens once in a year. APSCHE has announced the AP LAW COMMON ENTRANCE TEST – 2026 recently. The application process has already been started from 12th February 2026.  If anyone wants to pursue a 3 year or 5 year LLB course, then they can fill the application form online.

The candidates have to visit the official AP LAWCET website which is cets.apsche.ap.gov.in to complete the registration form before the deadline ends. If you miss out the deadline then, you have to pay certain amount as a late fee. You can Ap lawcet 2026 registration by paying a late fee of Rs. 1000, Rs. 2000, Rs.4000, Rs. 10000.  The exam is scheduled on May 4th of 2026. It will be conducted offline at selected test centres.

Eligibility Criteria of AP LAWCET 2026

There are some eligibility criteria which the applicant has to take care of pursuing for the program.

For 3 year LLB Program:

The applicant must have to be an Indian Citizen. They should have achieved at least 45% in their graduation. The candidates must have graduated in any field having degrees in 10+2+3. If the applicant has scored below 45% in their intermediate exam, then he has to give another graduation or PG exam. The candidate belongs to SC/ST category need to score at least 40% in the AP LAWCET exam to qualify for the 3 year program.

For 5 year LLB Program:

The applicant must have to be an Indian Citizen. They should have achieved at least 45% in their intermediate examination. The candidates must have graduated in any field having degrees in 10+2. If the applicant has scored below 45% in their intermediate exam, then he has to give another graduation or PG exam. The candidate belongs to General category have to score minimum of 45%, while the OBC category students have to score 42% and SC/ST category need to score at least 40% in the AP LAWCET exam 2026 to qualify for the 5 year program.

All candidates must have to fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the Bar Council of India (BCI), which may be updated periodically.

How to Apply for AP LAWCET 2026?

To apply for the examination, there are some procedure to be followed by the candidates.

  • Then you have to fill the required information including name, date of birth, contact number and email ID.
  • You have to select the course you want to enrol in i.e. 3 year LLB or 5 Year LLB.
  • After that make your payment online using a Credit card/ Debit card or through Net Banking.

There are total of 120 questions having 1 mark each, 120 marks in the examination. Time duration of the exam is 90 minutes and there are total of 3 subjects, i.e. General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs and Aptitude.
